Simulated Earthquake Moment Rate Functions in Wang & Houston (2026) - Evolution of scaled energy during earthquake ruptures
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains ~16,000 synthetic earthquake moment rate functions (MRFs) generated from dynamic rupture simulations with heterogeneous prestress. Each MRF is provided as a plain-text .dat file with two columns (time and moment rate). The simulations explore variability in stress heterogeneity and frictional parameters, producing earthquake-like source time functions suitable for statistical, spectral, and scaling analyses. Derived figures are omitted; all results can be regenerated from the raw data. Please cite the associated publication and this Zenodo record if you use the dataset. * Wang, B., & Houston, H. (2026).
