Density estimates of red snapper on uncharacterized (unknown) habitats off Louisiana and Texas from 2018 and 2019. Visual surveys using Adaptive Resolution Imaging Sonar (ARIS) and standard video surveys were conducted simultaneously during hydroacoustic surveys on a subset of sites and were used to calculate a species abundance and this proportion was then used to calculate the number of red snapper based on the hydroacoustic data.
