Romantic Love Survey 2022

The Romantic Love Survey 2022 includes 1,556 English-speaking young adults from 33 countries aged 18-25 who self-identified as being in love with a romantic partner (dating, committed, married or de facto; see attached file for more details on participant demographics). It was collected on Prolific between 24 October and 6 December 2022. It includes measures of romantic love (Passionate Love Scale, Triangular Love Scale-SF Commitment, time spent thinking about a loved one, number of times ever in love, and how long in love) as well as demographics, relationship characteristics, health and functioning (AQOL-4D), personality (TIPI), and elevated mood (HCL-32), among other topics. The ethical aspects of this research were approved by the ANU Human Research Ethics Committee (Protocol 2022/298). Informed consent was obtained from all participants prior to and following completion of the survey.
