资源简介:
Data on plant biomass and functional traits of Rumex obtusifolius and Rumex conglomeratus from both the native (United Kingdom) and introduced (New Zealand) ranges grown across an experimental soil moisture gradient in a greenhouse. Functional traits include chlorophyll content, root shoot ratio, specific leaf area and water use efficiency. Genotypes were cloned and planted across a soil moisture gradient including two levels of drought, a mesic treatment and flooding. Data include the trait values measured on each clone (Rumex Trait Data.csv). Data also include means and plasticity calculated for each genotype (Rumex Plasticity Data.csv). Plasticity was calculated as the slope of the reaction norm for each trait across either drought or flooding. Metadata, which describes the content of each column in the datasets, can be found in Rumex Data Metadata.csv.
