Colletotrichum gloeosporioides is an important fungal species associated with plant diseases and CgPMO9a plays critical roles in biological functions. In this project, transcriptome sequencing (RNA-seq) was performed to compare gene expression profiles between a CgPMO9a deletion mutant and the wild-type strain of Colletotrichum gloeosporioides. Total RNA was extracted from both strains under the same culture conditions and subjected to high-throughput sequencing. The generated RNA-seq data aim to identify differentially expressed genes and regulatory pathways associated with CgPMO9a deletion, providing insights into the CgPMO9a functions in Colletotrichum gloeosporioides.
