If you're blind, how do you see art? How do you see graphs, or graphics, tables of information, or web pages? The simple answer is, by sound. By understanding the 'thing' we can describe it, by turning the properties of the thing into sounds we can hear it, by using a computer and keyboard we can interact with it. Here, we'll take a tour around auditory display, experiencing audification and sonification. I'll explain the whys and hows and discuss how auditory display has the potential to enhance everyone's lives.<br>
