Dataset Description This dataset accompanies a joint inversion study and contains the scripts and resources necessary to reproduce synthetic experiments and visualizations. It is organized into the following components: 01_create_model.pyGenerates the physical model used for the synthetic joint inversion study. This includes the definition of model geometry and physical property distributions. 02_create_syn_data.pyProduces synthetic data for the inversion experiments based on the model created in the previous step. This simulates observational data for different petrophysical relationships. 03a_pij_archie/Contains configuration files and resources for joint inversion using Archie's law as the petrophysical relationship. 03b_pji_waxmansmits/Contains configuration files and resources for joint inversion using the Waxman–Smits model, which accounts for clay conductivity contributions. 03_joint_inversion.pyCore script that performs petrophysical joint inversion using the configurations provided in the respective subdirectories. It supports both petrophysical models and handles the optimization routines. 04_plot_results.pyPost-processing and visualization script to plot inversion results, compare true and recovered models, and analyze residuals and model misfits.
