A batch growth experiment of Clostridium saccharoperbutylacetonicum N1-4(HMT) was performed in 50 ml optimized synthetic medium for differential transcriptome analysis. Samples were drawn during the early exponential growth phase (OD600 of approx. 0.68, after 12 h), after the butyrate peak (OD600 of approx. 3.60, after 24 h), after the acetate peak (OD600 of approx. 6.10, after 29.5 h), and during the stationary growth phase (OD600 of approx. 6.60, after 52 h).
