FZ 4 - 2020 - New registrations of motor vehicles and their trailers by manufacturer and trade name

The data basis for this evaluation is the reports of the registration authorities to the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) on newly registered motor vehicles and their trailers in Germany. These communications relating to motor vehicles and their trailers and their holders are recorded in the Central Vehicle Register (ZFZR). They are the data basis for the designation of newly registered motor vehicles (vehicles) and motor vehicle trailers (vehicle trailers) in the reporting year. The evaluation takes place on the basis of selected characteristics. This is where the focus is on the manufacturers. These overviews by manufacturer and trade name include motor vehicles with more than 30 new registrations in the reporting year and motor vehicle trailers with more than 100 units. In addition, motor vehicle trailers with fewer than ten new registrations are not shown for further classification features. The reporting period is a calendar year.
