The code here allows one to reproduce results reported in the blog “EiR - How to Measure the Importance of Variables in Regression Equations” by Bob Reed, posted at The Replication Network on July 15, 2019. It is written using Stata, Version 15. This blog is based on a paper by Olivier Sterck entitled “On the measurement of importance”. The code for the blog requires data and a user-written command ("importance") that must first be downloaded from Oliver Sterck's website. Please see the ReadMe document for further details.
