This database focuses on non-nutritive food components that exhibit health-promoting/beneficial and/or toxic effects upon ingestion. Maintained by EuroFIR AISBL, eBASIS is designed to provide scientific evidence regarding how bioactive compounds promote human health, particularly in relation to chronic diseases.
