This dataset reports objectively analyzed atmospheric data from Hurricane Isaac (2012), during in-storm conditions (August 28). This dataset reports sea surface temperature, depth of 20 degree Celsius and 26 degree Celsius isotherms, ocean heat content, ocean mixed layer depth and temperature, momentum, sensible and latent heat fluxes, wind speed, and humidity collected via 34 atmospheric global atmospheric positioning system dropsondes (also called dropwindsondes).
