Draft genome assembly of raccoon dog (Nyctereutes procyonoides). Nyctereutes procyonoides genome

Here we present the draft genome assembly of the raccoon dog (Nyctereutes procyonoides), a species belonging to the Canidae family, native from eastern Asia but introduced in Europe. Analyses are based on PacBio Sequel II and Oxford Nanopore Technologies sequencing as well as Omni-C data. The genome was assembled by using Flye and gene predictions using GeMoMa.
