资源简介:
Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) devices vary in sampling frequency, which makes difficulty when comparing of glycemic episode detection. This study will assess the impact of different CGM recording intervals (5 vs. 15 minutes) on identifying hypoglycemic and hyperglycemic episodes and evaluated whether interpolation methods can mitigate episode detection losses.
We will interpolate 15 minute interval data to generate 5 minute data. This will allow comparison of the number of hypoglycaemic episodes detected between 5 and 15 minute interval.
This could help to identify how many hypoglycaemic episodes and missed with 15 minute interval compared to 5 minute interval CGM data.
This is related to our publication Russon et al., 2021, 2022 and 2025.
We will also consider the effect of other CGM intervals greater and less than 5 and 15 minutes.
This could help to identify how many hypoglycaemic episodes and missed with 15 minute interval compared to 5 minute interval CGM data.
We will also look at time series analysis for prediction of future CGM values based on past data.
