Optimizing poultry feather hydrolysate application for soil fertility: effects of soil texture and hydrolysate state and addition rate

Dataset (MS Excel file) provides information on microbial activity, available nutrient content, and soil properties analyzed during a laboratory experiment using poultry feather hydrolysate in temperate agricultural soils. It includes measurements of microbial respiration, available carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus, pH, microbial biomass carbon (Cmic) and nitrogen (Nmic), and water holding capacity (WHC). The dataset also features detailed soil fraction analyses, including free particulate organic matter (fPOM), occluded particulate organic matter (oPOM) and mineral-associated organic matter (MAOM).
