Experimental Multimission Gridded Sea Level Heights and Velocities using MIOST (nadir + KaRin- validation dataset)

This is a global sea level gridded dataset generated using the MIOST (Mapping of Ocean Surface Topography) framework, integrating multi-mission altimetry observations from CryoSat-2 (c2n), Haiyang-2B (h2b), Jason-3 (j3n), Sentinel-3A (s3a), Sentinel-3B (s3b), SWOT nadir (swon), Sentinel-6A low-resolution mode (s6a-lr) and SWOT KaRin ocean data, while explicitly excluding SARAL/AltiKa (used for validation). The dataset covers the full global ocean domain (−180° to 180° longitude, −90° to 90° latitude) over the period from January 1 to December 31, 2024. The mapping is produced on a regular grid with a spatial resolution of 1/8° and a daily temporal resolution. Input along-track data are from the CMEMS Level-3 product SEALEVEL_GLO_PHY_L3_MY_008_062 (https://doi.org/10.48670/moi-00146), ensuring consistent cross-mission calibration and along-track processing prior to optimal interpolation within the MIOST.
