LA recycled/composted waste in South West England 2000-2018

This statistic shows local authority collected recycled and composted waste in South West England from 2000 to 2018. Waste volumes increased from 466,000 metric tons in 2000/2001 to over 1.21 million metric tons in 2008/2009, dropping the following year. Volumes amounted to almost 1.2 million metric tons in 2012/2013. Volumes have gradually increased since then, peaking at 1.28 million metric tons in 2016/17.
