On February 19, local Greek authorities had reported that large areas in the Greek part of the Evros River basin had been flooded, affecting agricultural areas and likely settlements along the river. Copernicus EMS Rapid Mapping was requested to provide an initial rough estimation, flood extent, and damage assessment emergency mapping.
