Shampoo, a crucial personal hygiene product, holds significant economic importance. Given the complex interactions of the scalp microbiome and its impact on scalp and hair health, understanding how shampoo affects this ecosystem is vital. This study employed 16S rDNA and ITS high-throughput sequencing to analyze the bacterial and fungal community structures and diversities on the human scalp before (Day 0) and after (Day 28) shampoo use.These findings provided insights for developing more microbiome-friendly scalp care products
