Seasonal dynamics of bacterial community structure and function in the surf zone

This study contains sequencing data generated to investigate the seasonal dynamics of bacterial community structure and inferred functional potential in surf zone seawater collected at a recreational beach in Ostend, Belgium. Samples were collected over a one-year period and analysed to assess temporal variability in bacterial community composition and associated functional profiles in relation to environmental conditions. These data were generated as part of the study published in Environmental Microbiology Reports (Li et al., 2024).
