This dataset captures step-by-step response logs from students solving problems in Algebra I courses, collected during their interactions with an intelligent tutoring system named Cognitive Tutor. It contains 5,744 steps where student errors were detected. Additionally, the dataset includes a set of 92 predefined feedback rules, along with 19 unique labels assigned to erroneous steps. In terms of scale, the dataset encompasses 130,823 interactions, 9,590 responses, and 95 unique students. The task associated with this dataset is to classify errors in algebraic problem-solving.
