HCD Annual Progress Report - Certificate (2023)

This dataset contains certified (completed) housing projects collected by the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) in 2023 as part of the Regional Housing Needs Allocation (RHNA) Cycle 6 Annual Progress Report (APR) process. The dataset has been de-duplicated, meaning only records where the APR year matches the certificate issue year are included. Certificates submitted in future APRs have been removed. Data were downloaded on December 3, 2023, and represent a snapshot of the APR source dataset, enriched with additional attributes to support regional housing and land use work. Jurisdictions submit updated APRs to HCD annually on April 1 and may submit corrections at any time throughout the year. As a result, discrepancies in reported unit counts may exist between this dataset and the data available on HCD’s website.
