Harvesting emissions outweigh carbon storage in global wood products

This dataset supports the study "Harvesting emissions outweigh carbon storage in global wood products", which quantifies the net carbon balance of harvested wood products (HWPs) at global and regional levels. It includes two Excel files: global_results.xlsx: summarizing annual carbon fluxes and carbon sequestration from HWPs globally. regional_results.xlsx: detailing regional variations in HWP production, emissions, and carbon storage across 18 regions from 1961 to 2023.
