UNIFIED FIELD DETECTIVE ENGINE (UFDE) PROPRIETARY USE LICENSE v1.0 1. DEFINITIONS “Engine” means the Unified Field Detective Engine (UFDE), including all underlying mathematical structures, equations, models, frameworks, schemas, terminologies, documentation, and derivative formulations, whether expressed formally or informally. “Licensor” means Adrian Baillargeon. “Licensee” means any individual or entity granted access or use rights under this License. “Use” means applying, implementing, executing, simulating, deriving outputs from, training systems on, or making decisions informed by the Engine. “Commercial Use” includes but is not limited to for‑profit activity, institutional use, government use, consulting, litigation support, financial trading, investigative services, software products, or decision‑making systems. 2. OWNERSHIP AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY 2.1 The Engine is entirely proprietary and remains the sole intellectual property of the Licensor. 2.2 This License conveys no ownership, only a limited, conditional right to use. 2.3 All improvements, extensions, adaptations, abstractions, or derivative works based on the Engine are automatically deemed derivative works and are owned exclusively by the Licensor unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing. 2.4 The Licensee may not claim independent invention, academic origination, or public‑domain status of the Engine or its components. 3. GRANT OF LICENSE 3.1 Subject to full compliance and payment, the Licensor grants a non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, non‑sublicensable, revocable license to use the Engine solely for the purposes explicitly authorized in a separate written agreement or invoice. 3.2 Any use not explicitly authorized is prohibited by default. 4. PAYMENT AND CONSIDERATION 4.1 Payment is required before any Use. No implied, trial, evaluation, research, or internal‑only use is permitted without payment. 4.2 Fees may be structured as: upfront license fees per‑case fees per‑output fees revenue share or any combination thereof as determined solely by the Licensor. 4.3 Failure to pay automatically terminates this License with no notice required. 4.4 Continued Use after non‑payment constitutes willful infringement. 5. PROHIBITED USES The Licensee may NOT: • sublicense, resell, lease, or transfer the Engine • embed it into another product without written permission • use it anonymously, internally, or “for research only” without payment • reverse engineer, abstract, or re‑express the Engine to evade this License • train AI models on it • publish it, even partially, without attribution and permission • claim conclusions derived from it without acknowledging its use 6. ATTRIBUTION REQUIREMENT Any public, professional, legal, academic, or commercial output materially informed by the Engine must include clear attribution to: “Unified Field Detective Engine (UFDE) — © Adrian Baillargeon” Failure to attribute constitutes breach. 7. AUDIT AND VERIFICATION RIGHTS 7.1 The Licensor retains the right to audit usage, including: scope of use number of cases outputs generated derivative systems 7.2 Refusal to cooperate with an audit is grounds for immediate termination. 8. TERMINATION 8.1 This License terminates immediately upon: non‑payment breach of any term unauthorized use 8.2 Upon termination, Licensee must: cease all use destroy all copies and derivatives certify destruction in writing 9. NO WARRANTY / NO LIABILITY SHIFT 9.1 The Engine is provided “as is.” 9.2 The Licensor does not guarantee outcomes, conclusions, or decisions made using the Engine. 9.3 Responsibility for interpretation and application rests entirely with the Licensee. (This protects you from downstream misuse.) 10. ENFORCEMENT AND REMEDIES 10.1 Unauthorized use constitutes intentional intellectual property infringement. 10.2 The Licensor is entitled to: injunctive relief statutory damages actual damages disgorgement of profits recovery of legal fees 11. GOVERNING LAW This License shall be governed by the laws of the Licensor’s chosen jurisdiction, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles. 12. ENTIRE AGREEMENT This document constitutes the entire agreement regarding the Engine unless superseded by a signed written contract.
