WGS sequencing, assembly, and annotation. Postia placenta Mad-698-R

The Department of Energy (DOE) Joint Genome Institute (JGI) sequenced the genome of the dikaryotic Postia placenta strain Mad-698-R at 7.23X coverage using whole genome shotgun (WGS) sequencing. Version 1.0 of the genome assembly consists of 1,243 haplotype scaffolds. JGI annotated the draft assembly with 17,173 predicted gene models using their annotation pipeline.
