 This study investigates the influence of organizational support and employee engagement on work-life balance in the context of startups in India. The research examines the direct and mediating relationships between these variables using data from 270 participants comprising engineers and managers. The results reveal that organizational support significantly enhances work-life balance both directly and indirectly through employee engagement. While employee engagement contributes positively, its impact is less pronounced compared to organizational support. The mediation analysis highlights that organizational support not only fosters engagement but also amplifies its role in achieving better work-life balance. Demographic factors such as age, gender, and marital status show no significant effect on work-life balance. The model used in the study demonstrates strong explanatory power that confirms the key role of organizational support. These findings emphasize the need for engineering managers and policymakers to prioritize strategies that enhance organizational support by promoting employee well-being and productivity.
