Pomegranate (Punica granatum) is threatened by numerous fungal diseases including Pilidiella granati. In order to decipher the transcriptional expression profiles in the Pomegranate - Pilidiella granati pathosystem, an RNA-seq analysis at fruits was performed at 24, 48, and 72 h after infection. The samples for RNA-seq were obtained from fruits inoculated with the pathogen; mock inoculated fruits were also analyzed.
