Pisolithus albus isolate:MSR1 Genome sequencing and assembly

Pisolithus albus is an ectomycorrhizal fungus which improves host plant growth and survival under environmental stressed conditions. The fungus is reported as a potent biotechnological tool to derive the vegetative regeneration of degraded barren lands. Based upon the unavailability of fungal genomic reports, our study is focused to decode various gene models, functional capabilities, metabolic pathways from its genomic DNA. The study highly contributes to the motive of successful utilization of fungus in various bioremediation programs.
