资源简介:
Species of the genus Umbelopsis are ubiquitous soil saprotrophs that contribute to lignocellulosic biomass decomposition and nutrient cycling in forest ecosystems. These fungi inhabit terrestrial environments and are primarily isolated from forest soil, although they can also be recovered from the fruiting bodies of mushrooms. Although their role as decomposers is well known, some species such as U. isabellina and U. ramanniana exhibit exceptionally high lipid production capacities (PUFAs), accumulating lipids rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids. Consequently, they have attracted considerable attention for their biotechnological potential in sustainable biodiesel and nutraceutical production. In this study, we sequenced the genome of U. nana using the PacBio Sequel IIe system.
