Conversion to a neuroendocrine phenotype is a known resistance mechanism to androgen receptor-directed therapies in prostate cancer. In this study, we analyze DNA methylation changes associated with neuroendocrine transdifferentiation using a patient-derived xenograft model that recapitulates these lineage transitions. DNA samples from the LTL331 patient-derived xenograft model, developed by Dr. Wang (Vancouver Prostate Centre, PMID: 24356420), were collected at various time points post-castration and analyzed using enzymatic DNA methylation sequencing (EM-seq, PMID: 34140313).
