NRS-8451 | Register of Court of Claims cases with registered correspondence [Department of Lands]

Where Reports of the Commissioners of Claims on Cases and related papers have been connected to and filed with the main series of registered correspondence of the Department the following information has been recorded: the case number or memorial numbers, name of claimant and opponent (if any), the registered number of the correspondence as well as the area and location of the land, date of issue of the deed. References to papers relating to memorials under the 1833 Act, 4 Will. IV. no.9, establishing the Court of Claims as well as to cases reported on under the 1835 Act, 5 Will. IV. no.21, are noted. In most cases the reports have been connected to Alienation Branch correspondence with a few to Roads Branch when compensation was involved. (2/2372). 1 vol.
