SOHO EPHIN Calibration
收藏资源简介:
Calibration measurement Each document contains values measured at the rigidity given in the file name at the Hahn-Meitner-Institute in 1995.The header is as follows: ID, IND, Penetration Depth, Coincidence, Segment in Detector A, Segment in Detector B, ADC Value in Detector A, Gain Level in Detector A, ADC Value in Detector B, Gain Level in Detector A, ADC Value in Detector C, Gain Level in Detector A, ADC Value in Detector D, Gain Level in Detector A, ADC Value in Detector E, Gain Level in Detector A The gain levels in each detector are multiplicative factors to convert the ADC value to MeV values as follows: Det A: 0: 3/1023 1: 30/1023 Det B: 0: 3/1023 1: 45/1023 Det C: 0: 16.07/1023 1: 166.7/1023 Det D: 0: 20/1023 1: 225/1023 Det E: 0: 20/1023 1: 225/1023 Simulation A simulation of the calibration is now included. The simulation files were created using GEANT4 (see also Koeberle et al, https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.15772294). Each run was performed with 10000 particles of each rigidity used during calibration and an energy distribution of +-0.5% around that. Simulations were performed for Helium-4 and protons. The header is as follows (all energies and energy losses in MeV): "Energy loss in Detector A" "Energy loss in Detector B" "Energy loss in Detector C" "Energy loss in Detector D" "Energy loss in Detector E" "Energy loss in Detector F" "Energy loss in Anticoincidence" "Sector hit in Detector A" "Sector hit in Detector A" "Event ID in Output" "Starting energy of particle" "Direction of particle (1 nominal direction, -1 inverse direction)"
