16S rDNA fragment to detect different animal species contained in candies.. Metabarcode_candies

We have use the Ion Torrent Personal Genome Machine (PGM) to detect the animal species contained in different types of candies in order to compare this method with more traditional methods, used in food traceability, as PCR-cloning. We have amplified a short fragment of the 16S ribosomal gene, with specific primers fixed to adapters to PGM and different barcodes, one per candy, to analyse all of them inside the same chip.
