Understanding Parental Concerns on Oral Health Care Access Among School Children in Ga-Rankuwa: Cross-sectional study

This dataset is drawn from a cross-sectional study conducted in 2024 in Ga-Rankuwa, South Africa, examining parental concerns and challenges related to children’s access to oral health services. Data were collected from parents/guardians of school-going children using a structured interviewer-administered questionnaire after ethical approval (TREC/123/2024: PG).The dataset includes anonymised responses on perceived barriers, knowledge of services, and suggested improvements. All identifying information has been removed. A codebook is provided to explain variable names and coding categories for ease of interpretation and reuse.
