This dataset contains raw and derived data supporting the findings of the associated article. It includes measured activities of six hydrolytic enzymes (β-glucosidase, cellobiohydrolase, β-xylosidase, N-acetyl-β-glucosaminidase, leucine aminopeptidase, and acid phosphatase; nmol g⁻¹ dry soil h⁻¹) from a 28-day laboratory incubation crossing two tillage-legacy soils (NT, RT), three crop residue types (maize, oilseed rape, wheat) at three incorporation rates (0.4%, 0.8%, 1.2% w/w), sampled at Days 7, 14, and 28. Derived ecoenzymatic stoichiometry ratios (ln(EC/EN), ln(EC/EP), ln(EN/EP)), instantaneous C mineralisation rates estimated from a parallel incubation, and split-plot mixed-effects ANOVA results are provided in separate sheets.
