Microbiome of the green seaweed Ulva (Chlorophyta)

The aim of this study is to investigate how the microbiome associated with the green seaweed Ulva (Chlorophyta) responds to various external stressors, including environmental fluctuations, anthropogenic pollution, and conditions related to aquaculture. By examining changes in microbial community composition and function, the research seeks to better understand the dynamic interactions between Ulva and its microbiota in a changing environment, with a specific focus on algal growth and morphogenesis factors (AGMPF) released by the core microbiome of Ulva.
