Undergraduate Pediatrics Clerkship Student Must-See List: Consensus and Agreement Between Students and Faculty in the UAE

This multi-institution cross-sectional study examines how medical students and faculty prioritize essential pediatric conditions that undergraduate learners should encounter during clerkship. Using structured survey ratings mapped to common clinical presentations, the study identifies a consensus “must-see” core of pediatric illnesses and evaluates agreement between stakeholder groups through correlation analyses, intraclass correlation coefficients, and generalizability theory decision studies. Findings show strong alignment between students and faculty and demonstrate that reliable monitoring of curricular exposure can be achieved with relatively small student samples, supporting data-informed planning of pediatric clinical training.
