Satellite Ocean Reflectance Data Assimilation (SORDA) demo data set

Data stored here is a demo dataset for SORDA (Satellite Ocean Reflectance Data Assimilation system) Ensemble-Kalman Filter based data assimilation system developed at MAST in University of Liege as a deliverable for WP4 of NECCTON Project Horizon Europe by P. Verezemskaya with support of L. Macé, L. Vandenbulcke, A. Bart and M. Grégoire. Model folder contains RRS in 6 wavebands computed by an ensemble of 20 members for 10 days in the end of February 2016. Ptrc folder contains BGC state variables for the same ensemble and period. Obs folder contains a set of RRS to be assimilated and BGC state consistent with the observation for analysis comparison. SORDA_output.tar.zst contains analysis, forecast and increment files concatenated over time and ensemble dimensions. The Black Sea area is considered.
