收藏资源简介:
Sports events have become powerful instruments for promoting social inclusion, community development, healthy lifestyles, and youth participation in modern societies. Beyond their recreational and competitive functions, sports events create opportunities for young people to develop communication skills, leadership abilities, civic responsibility, intercultural understanding, and social cohesion. This study investigates the impact of sports events on the social engagement of youth by examining their educational, psychological, cultural, and community-related dimensions. The research employs a qualitative methodology based on systematic literature review, comparative analysis, and conceptual synthesis of international studies published in the fields of sports science, education, sociology, and psychology. The findings suggest that the successful organization of inclusive, culturally responsive, and educationally oriented sports events contributes to sustainable youth development and strengthens social capital within communities. The study concludes that governments, educational institutions, sports organizations, and local communities should collaborate to maximize the social benefits of sports events through evidence-based policies, innovative educational strategies, and inclusive participation models.
