Historical public health data from Brazil, 1960-1989: 7,467 records from 28 articles
收藏资源简介:
7,467 aggregated records (counts, rates, percentages and means by place, age, sex and year) transcribed from the tables, figures and text of 28 Portuguese-language journal articles printed 1968-1995, on data collected 1960-1989: Chagas disease, schistosomiasis, filariasis, cysticercosis, hepatitis B, malaria, leprosy, tuberculin tests, meningitis, tetanus, measles, infant and maternal mortality, mortality by cause, child diarrhoea, nutrition, dental caries, hypertension and vaccine coverage, from Amazonas to Rio Grande do Sul. None of these numbers exists in structured form at that period or level of detail (checked against DATASUS series, IBGE SIDRA, DataCite and Harvard Dataverse). Files: records and strata, with the page and table of every number; printed totals and rates checked against their parts. Tables that list individuals were skipped. Each article was transcribed twice, independently, by AI agents, and every disagreement (11,554) was settled against the PDF. A human reviewed the result before publication. Version 2.0.0 adds a round of 20 articles to the 8-article pilot (v1.0.0). Part of the Paper Rerun project (Open Tables).
