(A) 30 min C8-PA treatment of serum-starved AsPC-1 cells results in decreased coimmunoprecipitation of FKBP38 with mTOR and shows enhancement of mTOR signaling via mTOR-specific phosphorylation sites on S6K, 4E-BP1, and AKT. (B) AsPC-1 cells treated for 72 hr with 25 nM LP-1, LP-4, non-targeting (nt), or mock transfection (m) showing enhanced FKBP38 association with mTOR. Results are representative of four independent experiments.
