The aridity index map was prepared using TerraClimate data https://www.climatologylab.org/terraclimate.html for a 2024 Feldman et al. 2024 publication in AGU Earth's Future on behalf of all authors of that article.
The python script is used to plot panel a of Figure 1 using this aridity index file. No other data was used in the creation of the figures in the publication.
