This project includes surface water, aquatic sediment, periphyton (biofilm), detritus, and fish gut samples from an urban river. The 16S rRNA gene of these samples were sequenced to analyze the microbial community. These samples were a subset of a larger sampling campaign to measure carbapenem resistance in a watershed.
