This dataset contains over 10,000 indexed records of obituaries found in Western Australian newspapers, newsletters and journals from the mid-1800s to early 2010s. The records were created by Library staff from the State Library of Western Australia (SLWA) between 1997 and 2014. \r\n\r\nInformation captured includes:\r\n•\tthe deceased’s name\r\n•\tyear of birth and death\r\n•\ta title and summary of the obituary\r\n•\tthe publication title and date it was printed in \r\n•\tthe page number the obituary appears on\r\n
