Updated Nicrophorus vespilloides genome assembly and annotation

N. vespilloides is used as a model species for the evolutionary study of complex social behaviors; such as, parental care, sibling competition, and social competition. We updated this genome to help maintain its usability as functional genomic techniques and comparative genomic analyses advance and require more complete genomic resources.Samples were sequenced with Pacific Bioscience's RS II P5C3 CLR sequencing. Genomic DNA was extracted with a phenol-choloroform extraction from inbred larvae.
