CESM2(WACCM6) Simulations of the Los Chocoyos eruption

This data set contains all the simulations performed for the paper "The potential impacts of a sulfur- and halogen-rich supereruption such as Los Chocoyos on the atmosphere and climate" (https://acp.copernicus.org/articles/20/6521/2020/) published in ACP. The same simulations are the basis for a paper currently under review in GRL.

The simulations aim to represent the eruption of Los Chocoyos (~84,000 years ago) in CESM2(WACCM). The data is in the original CESM2(WACCM) output NetCDF format and the naming convention for the simulations are described in the README file included in the data set.
