West Midlands shapefiles from Aimsun

This resource contains shapefiles of features in the Aimsun 2 model region (spanning from Belgrave Middleway to Highbury park) from the West Midlands use case. The file also contains the polygons for all LSOA regions that overlap with either Aimsun 1 or Aimsun 2.Shapefile definitions include: public transport lines - utilising dasta from https://data.bus-data.dft.gov.uk/ under the Open Data Gov V3 license SectionsGeo/sections - road segment representations used in the use case model relating to the area (these features where derived from other sources including OpenStreetMap reused under license as declared here https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/License/Use_Cases) Polygons - defining area used in model setup nodes - points on the transport network between segments meterings detectors centroids - to support model setup for defined regions and movement - these include edge boundary of the model area centroids_area - areas for mobility configuration used in the microsimulation model centroid connections - defining connective aspects between regions bus stops - this is taken from NAPTAN data reused under OPEN GOVERNMENT LICENSE v3.0 This resouirces are shared for the likely purposes of future model work in the use case area and they may not have wider utility beyond localised usage. This is data source D106 in the project register.
