Coding Earth geo-access workflow for Yellowstone National Park (Objectives 1–4 reproducibility package)

This record contains four modular reproducibility archives (S1–S4) for the tract-based “geo-access” workflow applied to Yellowstone National Park, developed in the Coding Earth spirit of executable, open-source geography. S1_Objective1_ReproLock_v2a.zip provides the Objective 1 geodiversity package: tract-level Shape Index (SI_square) values, the pinned 90th-percentile hotspot threshold, Geo_High flags, high-resolution maps, a JSON reproducibility lock and a verification script.S2_Objective2_ReproLock_v2a.zip provides the Objective 2 accessibility package: 0.5–4 km buffer-based accessibility indices, the 1 km density D(1 km), Access_High flags, OpenStreetMap filter rules (YAML) and a single Python script which regenerates accessibility tables and maps.S3_Objective3_Figure5_repro_inputs_pipeline.zip contains the complete Geo × Access (Objective 3) pipeline, including tract-level tables, Geo_High and Access_High flags, a lock file with SHA-256 hashes, and a Python script that rebuilds the Geo × Access figure from the tabular inputs.S4_Objective4_Prescriptions_repaired_package.zip provides the Objective 4 prescriptions package, including the repaired tract-level prescriptions table, lock file, and documentation for mapping quadrant membership and priority flags to strategy classes (“Protect / Avoid”, “Concentrate and Harden”, “Absorb”, “Quiet / Restore”). All code is written in Python and executed in an open-source environment (Google Colab) using GeoPandas, pyogrio, shapely, pandas, NumPy, OSMnx and Matplotlib. The scripts, configuration files and lock files are released under an MIT licence and are intended to support cloning, verification and adaptation of the Yellowstone workflow to other tract-based protected areas.
