TrilaWatt Use-Case: Tide energy as a resource
收藏官方服务:
资源简介:
Tides are formed as long-period surface waves on our oceans as a result of the gravitational forces of the earth, moon and sun. In the Wadden Sea, tides are half-day and mesotidal, which is why research has recently investigated tide energy as a promising addition to conventional power supplies. To support this research, data products were developed as part of this TrilaWatt use case in order to better assess the tidal energy potential.
