Science Journalism Agenda Setting - Interviews with Czech Journalists

The dataset consists of two PDF/A documents, each containing six semi-structured interviews with Czech science journalists working for mainstream online news outlets covering a broad range of topics. One of the documents contains anonymized interview transcripts in the original language (Czech), while the second contains an AI-generated translation (ChatGPT, version 5.6). The interviews were conducted by Vendula Grygová as part of her bachelor’s thesis titled Differences in Science Journalists’ Approaches to Agenda Building, supervised by Tomáš Holešovský and successfully defended. The interviews and the thesis itself serve as the basis for a revised version of the research prepared for publication as an academic article. Five interviews were conducted online and one in person. The data were collected in spring 2025.
